Last month we wrote about fan-data firm Laylo’s new AI Ticket Sales Agent, which automated the process of reconnecting with fans who’d RSVP’d or clicked on a link.
Now the company has added another AI agent to its roster of helpers for clients, and this one is focused on social media.
In Laylo’s words, the UGC Agent “watches an artist’s Instagram Story tags, spots the fan clips worth keeping, and asks the fan to send the original file before the Story disappears in 24 hours”.
The company cited the example of one unnamed band who used the agent to send more than 250 Instagram DMs in a weekend – “collecting hundreds of fan videos with permission to reuse them, all while automating a process that previously took hours of manual outreach”.
The UGC Agent and Ticket Sales Agent work alongside Laylo’s Abandoned Cart agent, which focuses on finding fans who added merch items to their cart on an artist’s store but didn’t check out.
Laylo has case studies for this too: “A Canadian indie rock band converted 28% of abandoned carts using the platform, bringing in nearly $8,000 in net revenue with zero manual setup,” it explained.
Expect more AI features to come, too. Laylo has just hired Brian Shin, formerly of big AI firm Perplexity, as its head of growth, to continue building out this side of its business.
